How it works

Three steps from wallet to working capital.

01

Deposit USDC

Fund your account on-chain from your own wallet. No bank, no wires — your USDC, your keys, in seconds.

02

Pick a Scout

Browse strategies with transparent track records. Each Scout shows what's live and what's backtested — no guessing.

03

Deploy & track

Your account mirrors the strategy automatically. Adjust your position or withdraw back to USDC whenever you want.

Inside a strategy

One strategy, five agents.

A single model asked to trade will rationalize its way into a position. Five agents with separated powers have to convince each other first — and one of them is paid to say no.

01

Intelligence Officer

Ingests news, filings, and market flow and grades every signal's strength. Most of what it reads, it discards — weak signals die here.

02

Strategist

Turns a graded signal into a sized, risk-bounded plan: what, how much, and the exit — decided before entry.

03

Sandbox Backcheck

Replays the plan against history and the current book. Its only job is falsification — it kills any plan that rhymes with a past loss.

04

Executor

Works the order — sizing, slicing, limit discipline. It follows the plan; it never improvises past it.

05

Monitor

Watches live positions and the other four agents. Always on — it can halt the whole strategy mid-flight if behavior drifts.

FAQ

How the money actually moves.

Who holds my money and places the trades?+

Alpaca — a US-regulated broker-dealer. Every strategy places real equity orders at Alpaca, and your assets are custodied there. Scout never takes custody of your securities; we route orders and mirror the strategy to your account.

How is my account created and secured?+

Through Privy. You sign in with email, Google, or a wallet, and Privy creates a self-custodial embedded Solana wallet tied to your login. Your keys stay yours — Scout never holds them, and we can't move funds without your on-chain signature.

How does my USDC become stocks?+

You deposit USDC on Solana from your wallet. At Alpaca it's converted USDC → USD, and that USD buys the strategy's real equities. It's a genuine market order at Alpaca, not a synthetic or paper position.

How long do deposits and withdrawals take?+

They're different. Deposits usually credit in about 1–3 minutes, once the on-chain transfer confirms and Alpaca converts your USDC to USD. Withdrawals take longer: they're submitted instantly, but the on-chain payout is processed by Alpaca — our regulated custodian — and typically arrives within about an hour, occasionally longer at busy times. That's because Alpaca verifies every payout is safe and legitimate before broadcasting it on-chain. Your balance is debited the moment you submit. A brand-new withdrawal address also goes through a one-time allowlist review (up to 24h) before its first payout, per Alpaca's policy.

How do I get my money back out?+

Redeem a position back to cash anytime. When you withdraw, the USD is converted back to USDC and sent on-chain to your own wallet — typically arriving within about an hour after you submit (sometimes longer during busy periods), because Alpaca reviews each payout before broadcasting it. A brand-new destination address goes through Alpaca's one-time allowlist review (up to 24h) before its first payout — that's Alpaca's policy, not an extra hold from us.

What are the five agents?+

Each strategy is run by a desk of five specialized agents — an Intelligence Officer that grades signals, a Strategist that builds the plan, a Sandbox Backcheck that tries to falsify it against past losses, an Executor that works the order, and an always-on Monitor that can halt the strategy mid-flight. See “One strategy, five agents” above.
